We are pleased to announce the signing of a 25 MWp solar project with Lucky Cement Limited (PSX: LUCK).
This project will promote renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources for sustainable economic development. The solar plant shall be installed at their Karachi Cement plant. This will not only reduce the cost of generation at Lucky Cement and will also have a positive impact on the environment with a reduction of 23,800 tCO2 emissions per annum.
OES team has worked with the LCL team to come up with the right capacity to be installed considering the cement plant’s existing energy mix which comprises gas generators in combined cycle, Kiln waste heat recovery and Grid.
