INTRODUCTION

A solar powered pump runs on electricity generated by PV panels. The operation of solar powered pumps is more economical and has less environmental impact than pumps powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE).

OES provides DC/AC solar pumps (submersible/surface) for tube wells, cattle farms, drinking water, swimming pools etc. Solar-powered water systems are practical in flat terrain where the sun shines which is ideal for use in Pakistan. The pumps can be placed in or next to pond or other source of water and the water can be pumped where it is needed.
